Exhibition "Stalin's Polish Army" talks about times from the beginning of Second World War to the middle of 50s. Army created in 1943 by the Stalin's order, despite of the blood shed by thousands of soldiers on the frontline, played mostly political role- has been used as a bargaining chip in diplomatic games, tool of indoctrination and part of organised by communist's apparatus of repression.
Using mostly fragments of memoirs, documents and extensive iconography exhibition recalls time of creation, fights and political role of the army which despite of being composed mostly from people that weren't communists, became one of the pillars of totalitarian rule in post war Poland.
The newest exhibition of IPN's Public Education's Bureau could be seen on the floor of temporary exhibitions in Zamość's Arsenal till the end of August 2016.
