On Monday 29 of February 2016, the day before National Rememberence Day of "Cursed" Solders, in our Museum was held a meeting devoted to Heroes of Polish post-war underground.
The meeting was held as part of so called "History Stop" organized by Educational Centre of the Institute of National Rememberance. During the meeting mr Dariusz Pilarski talked about his grandfather col. Marian Pilarski "Jar" , killed in 1952 by communists in the prison in Lublin's Castle. Later Marcin Krzysztofik i Artur Piekarz talked about cementery on the Unicka street i Lublin, where victims of the prison in Lublin's Castle were buried in 1944-54. Finally Andrzej Urbański, director of the Zamość Museum presented a set of surgical instruments that belonged to partisans unit commanded by mjr. Hieronim Dekutowski "Zapora". Instruments were handed to museum by proffesor Gabriel Wójcik, who got them in 1947 from Abbot Hugolin Ryba, provincial of the St. Bermard's Monastery in Radecznica. The meeting was accompanied by the presentation of pictures and materials related to II Inspectorate of Home Army of Zamość region and Grzegorz Filipowiak presented uniforms and equipment used by partisans units , and interested people could watch a movie "Conspiracy in the Monastery".
