The idea of the Exotic Europe. On the centenary of the death of Joseph Brandt is to show the otherness of Polish painting of the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth century, often called the "Munich School" or "Polish school". The Title - "Exotic Europe" - refers to the exotic Polish landscapes, culture and customs.
The exhibition brings together almost 100 works of Polish artists from the so-called “Munich school”. Among them are names of famous painters: Joseph Brandt, Jacek Malczewski, Jozef Chelmonski, Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski, Leon Wyczolkowski and Antoni Kozakiewicz. We would like to invite you to visit exhibition on the first floor of Zamosc Arsenal. The exhibition is open until 31 March 2016.
